Startmate First Believers: Bringing the Entertainment Industry In

The single biggest reason we started CAST - Centre for Arts, Sports and Technology was the belief that the entertainment industry would thrive the closer we brought true collaboration between arts, sports and technology.

Off the back of the last Startmate cohort I messaged Phoebe and Sam and flagged the idea of bringing more curious minds from the entertainment industry into the startup world to raise more awareness of the products being built and provide expertise on an industry that isn't always the easiest to understand from the outside.

The response from both Phoebe and Sam was amazing, let's do it. What transpired was us being able to bring Emily Copeland into the first believers program and damnnn I couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

Em saw something I saw, and I know so many others see when they come from the arts and get exposed to the world of startups or come from startups and get a deeper understanding of the arts industry.
