BIGSOUND x CAST Showcase 2026 - Top 10

In its second year, the CAST x BIGSOUND Startup Showcase will see four companies take the stage to pitch the tools and platforms shaping tomorrow’s music industry.
The four Startup Showcase companies were selected from applications received globally by a committee of Vanessa Picken (Comes With Fries), Drew Thurlow (Berklee College of Music, Mindset Music Tech Fund), Sophie Robertson (TEN13) and Yvan Boudillet (Music Innovation Consulting, Music Tech Europe).

The four companies pitching at BIGSOUND 2026 are:
Motif, building culturally representative music datasets and evaluation tools for AI and streaming platforms.
Tradable Bits, helping music, sports and live entertainment brands turn audience data into deeper fan relationships.
Clippy, turning a single prompt into a fully produced short-form video while maintaining a brand’s visual identity.
Tickify, developing AI-driven ticketing infrastructure spanning smart tickets, regulated resale and demand forecasting.
A further seven companies have been selected for the Startup Spotlight, featured in a digital publication that gives them visibility across the CAST network and the broader Australian music industry:
Alias, turning event material into an interactive guide audiences can access and chat with in real time, across languages and devices.
AndR, pulling streaming, social, fan and live data into one workspace per artist and their teams.
EventFlow, bringing seating, menus, dietaries, runsheets and floorplans into one live document shared between venue and client.
For Eyes, distributing XR films and albums through Dolby Atmos cinemas to create into immersive music experiences.
HumanStanded, using AI detection to help labels, distributors and platforms identify synthetic content and AI derivatives of copyrighted works.
RELEASR, bringing release planning, assets and collaboration into one platform for artist teams.
YourKind, consolidating ticketing, marketing and audience data onto a single customer record for event organisers.
